We are happy to welcome Rasmus Rendsvig as a new PhD student in Theoretical Philosophy within the KDW project. Rasmus comes most recently from the LogiCIC group in Amsterdam.
Frank Zenker will be taking part in a new project on the effectiveness of debiasing methods for Swedish judges. He will collaborate with law professor Christian Dahlman (main applicant). The project, which will run in the period 2014-2016, is funded at 4.1 MSEK by The Ragnar Söderberg Foundation.

Staffan Angere has finalized a new version of his software, inspired by Alvin I. Goldman’s seminal work on veritistic social epistemology. Professor Ulrike Hahn will be visiting the Department of Philosophy from October 2013. Hahn, who holds the prestigious Kerstin Hesselgren professorship financed by the Swedish Research Council, will collaborate with Erik J. Olsson and other members of LUIQ.
Two doctoral student positions within the KDW project are now open for application: one in Theoretical Philosophy and one in Information Studies. The deadline for both is 14 OCT 2013.
